Last Week...

...Grace danced and sang on the ottoman. She has started singing at all times lately. She just makes up words and sings to herself (most of the time she dances along, but she'll also sing while coloring, in the bath, and doing her hair):

...Charley ate popsicles almost every day while watching Princess Sofia after school:

...my sister, Geni, finally had her baby boy on Tuesday. We went straight to the hospital after work to meet the cute little guy:

He ended up weighing 7 pounds, 8 ounces (almost the same as Charley) and was close to nineteen inches long. Congrats Geni and Chad!! We are so excited to finally have a little boy in the family. We're going to have to work hard to make him tough, because he's surrounded by girls. I can't stop staring at him and how tiny he is. I do not remember my girls ever being so small. It's amazing how fast they grow and change and crazy that you forget so quickly.

(Don't worry...I have absolutely NO baby fever. I'm happy with my two kiddos for the time being.)

...after meeting the new little nugget, we met Papa Rick at El Torito for dinner. The girls had fun being crazy in the back of the restaurant:

...they played with their Rapunzel playdough set:

...we watched Monster's Inc. on the iPad:

...Charley and I snuggled in bed that night:

...we met Zacarias, Stef, and Presley for dinner at Lucille's, and I failed to get a picture of the three girls together...bummer! They had fun, though, and it was nice to catch up with those guys:

...Elisha came over to see the girls, and Charley played with their new map of the USA (teaching her early...she's going to be a genius):

...Grace pushed Charley around in an old box:

...they played in their Minnie ball house and got crazy hair:

...the girls slept together in bed every night. I'm thinking in a couple of months, we are going to move them upstairs and just put them both in a full bed together. They love to sleep right next to one another:

...the snowcone line was insane, so we got Slurpees after school instead:

...Charley napped on my lap in the afternoon:

...Grace insisted on wearing snow boots to dinner. She has been wearing them all around the house all week, and also wearing just one snow glove on her left hand at all times. Weirdo:

...Charley looked cute while waiting for Daddy in the car:

...we went to Bounce U with the Sebastians to celebrate Easton's third birthday. All five kiddos had a blast:

...we hung out at my moms on Friday to help get ready for Rick's party the next day, and I got to snuggle baby Chase for a bit. Charley loved him:

...it was hot, so Daddy jumped in the pool and Char decided to go skinny dipping:

...we celebrated Rick's Fiftieth Birthday with a Jack Daniels themed party.

...Charley is fourteen months old!

...apparently Charley was exhausted after this busy week, because after her Sunday morning nap, she sat down in the bathroom and passed out again:

...we went to see World War Z with my sister, Allison. She had never gambled before, so we thought we'd break her in on the penny slots while waiting for the movie to start. She lost $20 while I won $20. Lesson learned:

See ya next week!
