Picture of the Week: Poppa and Brother - Melt My Heart Brother chewed on his toes when he woke up Monday morning. They are his current favorite toy for teething relief. Perry had dance class after school, and Gracie played with Brother. The girls love to try to get a reaction out of him. After dance, we stopped by Poppa and Grandma's. My heart just melts watching Poppa with the baby. He's always been the best, sweetest, most loving grandfather, and somehow he's set the bar even higher for my kids. The girls rode their bikes with the boys out front when we got home, complete with a killer sunset backdrop. Brother hung out in his stroller and was just happy to be outside. Perry played in her tutu, because once you get her dressed for dance, she refuses to take it off for the rest of the night. She looked pretty adorable playing football in it, too. Tuesday included more toe chewing. Perry loves this guy so much

Savor Every Moment {Five Months Old}

I'm not quite sure how it happened, but Brother is already five months old. He loves to smile and squeal and babble and chew on his toes. I say it every month, but he really is the happiest little guy. He gives everybody the biggest grin whenever he makes eye contact, and it melts everyone to pieces. He's always smiling at Mom, Dad, and Sisters and then turning away and burying his head in his blanket. I read somewhere that babies do this because they are so overcome with emotion that they just can't take it and have to look away. It's the sweetest thing ever, and he's smothered in kisses after every grin. At five months old, Baby Isaac (yes, we've finally started calling him that on occasion) is going by Bro Bro for the most part. He's sometimes called Brother, Brother Bear, Bubba, Boog, Boo Boo - all the 'B' names.  He is currently weighing in at sixteen pounds, which puts him in the race for the biggest baby. Grace still

Picture of the Week: Soccer Stars Brother napped at the office Monday morning. He wore Daddy's blue light glasses at lunch time and had us cracking up. He rolled around on the floor and squealed at his play mat. Perry got ready for dance class on Monday after school and asked Charley to take a picture on her phone. When we got to dance class, she was all ready to get in there and do her thing. Afterwards, we met Daddy and sisters at soccer practice where Brother worked on his sitting skills. Don't let this fool you. He quickly fell over. We were blessed with a beautiful sunset at practice again. Our Vegas sky is always stunning. Brother slept some more at work. I saw this and thought it was pretty funny. Grace is in fourth grade now, and this is the first year where I'm reading the instructions to her math homework and going "huh?". If you take four times as many as two tens, how many do you have? C
