Picture of the Week: Breakfast at Crepe Expectations


Perry woke up Monday morning and couldn't wait to go see her baby birdies.


My friend Brittany's son, Beckham, started going to school with Perry, and she sent me the cutest pics when she dropped him off that morning.


My mom picked the girls up from school for the afternoon and took them to get Slurpees.


The baby birds must've fallen out of their nest during the day, because they were all on the ground when we got home that afternoon.





Perry made me stay outside with her all evening to watch the baby birds, and the Mommy bird kept flying all around us.


We said good morning to them again on Tuesday. Perry can't get enough.


Gracie made a video at school with her friend, and I was dying of laughter when it popped up on my phone. This girl is too much.



We watched the final Knights game of the season, and it was so bittersweet. I can't believe they made it all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals. They did so much for our community and really brought everyone together like never before. We're so proud to call them our home team and are already counting down the days until next season.









Perry and Beckham continued to play together at school.


I tried telling Perry she had two minutes before she had to go to bed, and she insisted that she had two more hours.


Then she fell asleep all snuggled up with Mommy.


We went to our favorite breakfast spot, Crepe Expectations, for breakfast on Saturday. I enjoyed a mimosa sampler, and we shared a nutella crepe for breakfast dessert.


We redid our letter board in the kitchen, and I'm in love with it.


Daddy and Perry napped together Saturday afternoon.



We had a super fun game night with our friends, and the kids had a blast playing together and dressing up.



Grace took more selfies on her phone. I liked this one, because she has eye shadow on only one eye.


We spent the morning at FLIPnOUT, and we all had so much fun being crazy on the trampolines.


Grace and Char both made it up this huge wall and were so proud of themselves.



Perry was exhausted when we got home and fell asleep eating Cheerios on the couch.


I picked her up and snuggled with her, while I caught up on my shows.


She went upstairs with sisters and played when she woke up, and they made this silly video.

...Char was sleeping so peacefully Monday morning that I didn't want to wake her up. ...she made me a pretty picture at school with chalk. ...she continued her obsession with the easel and colored (and watched Toy Story ) while waiting for Daddy to get home from work. Hooray for panties! ...it got cold and windy again, but we played outside anyways. Isaac played catch with the neighbor boys, while JJ flew the kite and Char strutted her stuff. ...the girls danced around the living room. There is an iTunes Radio station called 'Frozen Radio' that the girls are crazy about. They play random Disney songs, and we listen to it all.the.time. Last Week...

Picture of the Week: The Sleepiest Kid Ever When I pick Perry up in the afternoons, we have to wait for about twenty minutes before Grace and Char get back from school. I actually kind of love it, because it gives me a chance to hang in Perry's classroom when they are doing afternoon crafts. Monday, they made barns out of chocolate graham crackers and marshmallow fluff. Perry's favorite part was eating it, and she shared with her sisters in the car as we drove home. We made salads for dinner, and she kept begging Daddy for bites. He decided it was easier to just share the whole bowl with her. Perry is definitely our best eater of the bunch and loves pretty much everything you give her, including most veggies.   She was being super silly in the bath, so I gave her a mohawk to go with her sass. While I was combing her hair, she found the tweezers on the counter, and kept calling them "teezwers". It was adorable, so I had to get a video.

Mini Adult

I'm officially in birthday planning mode. Grace is going to be TWO in just a month. She's such a mini adult: I can't even believe she used to be as small as Charley! Grace is now sleeping in her own bed all night. She falls asleep with us, but once we move her to her own bed, she stays there all night long. She's also in panties full time. She still has accidents in the middle of the night once in a while, but it's easy to wash her sheet and the waterproof mattress pad. We're officially done with diapers with this one!! Grace has also learned to roll her eyes this month. It's hilarious when I tell her she's cute and she rolls her eyes at me. Such a diva! She tells us she's ready to "go to bet" around 7:30 every night and even around 1:00 every day when she wants to take her nap (I love pre-school for this one). Grace is totally obsessed with pouches.
